Please be aware that the referral process is different depending on your insurance carrier.
General non-urgent referrals: For any non-emergent referrals the turnaround time is 1-2 days for PPO and Medicare insurance. For HMO and some Medi-Cal insurances, the process may take 1-2 weeks depending on how fast your insurance carrier responds.
Urgent referrals: All urgent referrals will be started immediately. Expect a call from the referral coordinator within 24 hours from the date of your appointment.
